Kilmarnock’s Budget

The Town’s fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30 of each year. The Treasurer and Town Manager prepare the budget for Town Council’s review.

There is a first reading and public hearing of the FY27 proposed budget on June 15, 2026 at the Town Council’s regularly scheduled Council meeting at 6:00 PM at Town Hall, 1 North Main Street. The second reading will be at the June 22, 2026 Special Called Meeting of the Town Council  at Town Hall at 6:00PM.

FY2027 Proposed Budget:

The following documents will be presented at the June 15, 2026 public hearing and first reading of the budget and at the June 22, 2026 second reading and adoption of the budget.

Ordinance 2026-008 Repeal and Re-adopt Town Code Chapter 42, Article II, Section 42-31.
Town Code will be amended to bring treatment of delinquent real estate and personal property tax accounts
in line with timing and amount of same by Lancaster County.
